WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) _ Oklahoma's Edinson Volquez and Ezequiel Astacio combined for a 2-hitter as the RedHawks won a 2-0 pitcher's duel over Sacramento.

Volquez gave up both hits while striking out nine over 7 innings to improve to 5-0 and Astacio threw two perfect innings for his second save.

Nate Gold drove in one run with a sacrifice fly in the 7th. The second run scored in the 9th after a 2-out double by David Matranga was followed by an infield single and an error on the play.

The RedHawks are off Thursday and open an eight-game homestand Friday with the first of four games against Iowa.
