The Russian, seeded eighth, will play the winner between second-seeded Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland and unseeded Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria in Sunday's final at Stockholm's Olympic Stadium.
Earlier, Georges won her quarterfinal when Emilie Loit was forced to retire because of an injury with Georges leading 2-0 in the opening set.
Radwanska, who is ranked 35th and the highest ranked player in the hardcourt tournament, defeated Caroline Wozniacki of Denmark 6-4, 6-1, and Pironkova outlasted France's Stephanie Cohen 6-7 (3), 7-6 (5), 6-1 in the other quarterfinals.
Only one quarterfinal was completed Friday and the others were postponed because of rain.
