NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Three Oklahoma Sooners are on the watch list for two post-season college football awards.

Cornerback Reggie Smith and safety Nic Harris are both on the pre-season list for the Jim Thorpe Award given to the top defensive back in the nation.

Tight end Brody Eldridge is on the list for the Mackey Award given to the top tight end in the nation.

The Thorpe Award will announce ten semifinalists in early November and three finalists just before Thanksgiving and the winner will be announced December 6th.

The Mackey Award will be presented in mid-December.
