OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Federal prosecutors say a southeast Oklahoma man is pleading guilty to drug charges in connection with a huge methamphetamine distribution network. Jared Macchirella of Stuart pleaded guilty to two counts of interstate travel in aid of racketeering.

U.S. Attorney Sheldon Sperling says Macchirella admitted he traveled from Oklahoma to Arkansas to possess and distribute meth. He faces up to 10 years in prison and $500,000 in fines.

Prosecutors say Macchirella was part of a major meth network centered in Pittsburg County that distributed as much as 20 pounds of the drug each month.
