OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The state Democratic Party has put up a billboard in Oklahoma City showing Republican Senate candidate Tom Coburn's quote: "You have a bunch of crapheads in Oklahoma City."
Party Chairman Jay Parmley says Coburn should apologize to the people of Oklahoma City for the remark.
A spokesman for Coburn calls the billboard is a "desperate attempt" to hide the voting record of Democratic candidate Brad Carson. Spokesman John Hart says Coburn's comment was about state lawmakers.
