(Augusta, Georgia-AP) -- Two former Oklahoma State Cowboys are preparing for one of the most prestigious golf tournaments on the PGA tour.

Scott Verplank and Charles Howell the third both qualified for this year's Masters in Augusta, Georgia. Verplank and Howell were among several players who played a practice round Sunday and met with members of the club.

The tournament is the first major of the year in professional golf and begins Thursday.
