(Nashville, Tennessee-AP) -- Randy Travis, Ricky Skaggs, Lee Ann Womack and several other country singers have contributed to an upcoming album of Civil War-themed songs.

It is ``America Will Always Stand'' -- the first album of original material ever issued by Time-Life Music.

Also contributing are Darryl Worley, The Whites, Collin Raye, Daron Norwood, Josh Turner, Blake Shelton, Marty Raybon, Billy Dean, Olivia Maxwell and The Michaels.

The 14 tracks were recorded in Nashville and Muscle Shoals, Alabama.

The album is due for release in May.
