(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A proposed bill in the state House would allow horse racetracks to offer the same type of gaming as Indian casinos.

Oklahoma City Republican Odilia Dank says her bill would provide parity to the horse racing industry.

The bill would allow the Oklahoma Horse Racing Commission to regulate Class Two gaming licenses and racetracks.

Class Two gaming is currently allowed at Indian casinos under Oklahoma and federal law.

Horse racing supporters say allowing Class Two gaming devices are needed at tracks for the $2-billion horse racing industry to survive in Oklahoma.
