((Glenpool-AP) -- Two people are dead after the car they were riding in crashed into a tractor-trailer rig near Glenpool in Tulsa County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Andrew Booth of Derby, England, and Sarah Ehlers of Lake Jackson, Texas, were killed in the crash just before 7:30 Wednesday night.

Troopers say the car driven north on US 75 by Booth crossed the median into the southbound lanes and was hit on the driver's side door by the semi.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
