(Phoenix-AP) -- The San Francisco Giants have traded first baseman and former Oklahoma Sooner Damon Minor to the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Giants receive minor league pitcher Mike Wilson in exchange for Minor

Minor was hitting .234 with eight home runs and 21 RBI's in 37 games for AAA Fresno. He hit three homers Sunday against New Orleans.

Minor hit .229 with 13 homers in 112 games over parts of three seasons with San Francisco but did not make the big league roster out of spring training this year. He'll join the Phillies' AAA team at Scranton Wilkes-Barre.
