WEATHERFORD, Okla. (AP) _ Jon Shepperd scored 21 points and had five rebounds as Northeastern State beat Southwestern Oklahoma 73-66.

Darnell Hinson added 19 points and eight rebounds for the Redmen (14-1) on Thursday. Shon Robinson scored 13 points, three rebounds and three assists.

Northeastern State's 7-point halftime lead, 41-34, proved to be the winning margin. Both teams scored 32 in the second half.

Southwestern Oklahoma (4-10) got 14 points from Arturo Jones, as well as four rebounds and three assists. Devon Rice added 12 points, three rebounds and two assists.
