(Stillwater-AP) -- A former Oklahoma State wrestler has been named to the U-S World team.

Eric Guerrero will be one of eight wrestlers to represent the United States in the World Championships.

The championships will be held September 26th to 29th at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Guerrero earned his spot by beating Kerry Boumans in a best-of-three series over the weekend in Cincinnati, Ohio.
