(Dallas-AP) -- Oklahoma running back Quentin Griffin and defensive back Brandon Shelby are this week's Big 12 offensive and defensive players of the week.

Griffin rushed for 207 yards and three touchdowns in O-U's 60-to-15 win over Texas Tech. This is the third time Griffin has been honored by the conference this season, he was co-offensive player of the week twice.

Shelby had six tackles, a quarterback sack and a blocked punt that was recovered for a Sooner touchdown in the win.

Kansas State's Terence Newman is the special teams player of the week.
