BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) _ A national newsmagazine has chosen a Bartlesville college as one of the best higher education institutions in the region.

U.S. News and World Report has designated Oklahoma Wesleyan University as a regional ``best in the West'' school based on ratings for graduation, student retention, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial aid, alumni giving and peer assessment.

In the past six years, the national publication has ranked the school as one of the nation's best buys in education.
