(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The lead attorney for Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols was paid Thursday for back wages and expenses.

Brian Hermanson of Ponca City was paid $300,767 and another nearly $75,000 was paid to four other defense attorneys and a former paralegal.

The Oklahoma Supreme Court ordered the payments last week

Nichols defense has spent about $2.1-million.

Nichols is serving life in prison on federal convictions for his role in the 1995 bombing. He faces 160 state charges of first-degree murder.
