(Las Vegas-AP) -- A pair of former Oklahoma State golfers are at the top of the leaderboard at the P-G-A Vegas Classic.

O-S-U All-American Charles Howell the Third is tied for the lead at 12-under after shooting a second-round 65 at the Southern Highlands Golf Club.

Edmond's Scott Verplank shot a 69 and is two back at ten-under par.

Howell is coming off a win at last weekend's Michelob Championship. He shares the lead with Jim Furyk.

The tournament is being played over three courses in Las Vegas.
