The roads turned fatal for a Broken Arrow couple Saturday morning.

Broken Arrow Police say around 9:15 AM, Melba and Roy Smith drove their car the wrong way on a BA Expressway exit ramp. A car coming in the opposite direction hit them head-on. That driver, identified as Ira Walker is in critical condition in a Tulsa hospital.

Mrs. Smith died at the scene. Her husband died while being flown to the hospital. The couple was wearing seatbelts.
