(Morristown, New Jersey-AP) -- Former Oklahoma coach Barry Switzer is among 75 players and nine coaches under consideration for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.

Dan Marino, Steve Young and Lawrence Taylor also headline the list.

This year's class will be announced next month, and then inducted at a dinner in New York on December Eleventh. Later, they will be officially enshrined during ceremonies at the Hall of Fame in South Bend, Indiana.

Switzer was 157-29-and-4 in 16 seasons at Oklahoma. His teams won three national titles and 12 Big Eight Conference championships.
