(Dallas-AP) -- Troy Aikman says he wants to play football next season.

Now, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones must decide whether he wants Aikman to play for Dallas.

Aikman tells W-F-A-A T-V in Dallas that he thinks he can help the Cowboys again at quarterback.

The 34-year-old quarterback -- a native of Henryetta, Oklahoma -- has led the Cowboys to three Super Bowl titles. But he's had a growing problem with concussions and an aching back. He suffered two concussions last season.

And when he was in the lineup, he played at well below the level of his previous seasons.

Aikman's scheduled to receive a seven (M) million-dollar bonus on March Eighth.

At that time, the Cowboys can buy out the contract, restructure or extend it through 2007, or cut Aikman and take a ten (M) million-dollar salary-cap hit.
