(Tucson, Arizona-AP) -- Two professional golfers with Oklahoma ties finished back in the pack at the Tucson Open after holding a share of the first round lead.

Former Oklahoma State golfer Willie Wood completed the tournament at 7-under-par, 281, eight strokes behind winner Garrett Willis.

Former Sooner Glen Day wound up with 4-under-par, 284.

Both Day and Wood opened the tournament with 67's and in a six-way tie for first.

Wood earns more than $15,000 for his performance while Day pockets a check for just less than $7,400 dollars.

Willis takes home $540,000 dollars for the victory.
