(Tulsa-AP) -- July 17th is the new date for three federal court hearings involving an illegal gambling prosecution.

U-S District Judge Michael Burrage had been scheduled to sentence John Wallis Stefanoff and Tim Wayne Bowman on Monday.

Both men admitted in March that they had violated federal law by paying their bar patrons who had gained credits on video gambling machines.

Burrage also had been scheduled to hold a hearing Monday in a similar case against Oscar Paul Warford and Loretta Jean Warford.

The Warfords had been expected to plead guilty June Eighth, but Burrage left the bench that day without taking the pleas, saying he didn't know if he could "in good conscience" take any more guilty pleas in the probe.
