(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma baseball coach Larry Cochell was not pleased with too many fly-ball outs and a lack of adjustment at the plate at the Big 12 Tournament.
The Sooners' bats went silent during two losses to eventual Big 12 Champion Nebraska.
Cochell says the Sooners will take some more batting practice and put in some drills where they'll stay on the baseball.
Cochell says the Sooners will hit balls up the middle. And they'll hit ground balls and line drives.
Play starts Friday with the Sooners serving as regional host for the N-C-A-A Regional at the Brick Town field in Oklahoma City.
