OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Aren Almon-Kok, mother of the baby who became a symbol of the 1995 federal building bombing, is expecting another child.
Almon-Kok said Tuesday that she and husband Stan Kok learned Monday they were having another baby. The couple had a daughter, Bella, in 1998.
"We've been thinking about it for a while," Almon-Kok said. "We're really excited."
Her first child, 1-year-old Baylee Almon, died in the bombing. The picture of Baylee cradled in the arms of a firefighter was distributed around the world.
Almon-Kok said after the bombing that she wanted to be a mother again. Now she says she's looking forward to motherhood the third time around.
"I'd like to have a boy this time, but a girl would be OK," she said. "I already have two girls."
