(Austin, Texas-AP) -- Tulsa players may have an avantage tonight against Miami in the shoe department.

Tipoff is set for 6:55 in the Golden Hurricane's tilt in the South Regional in Austin, Texas.

Tulsa players get to take the court in new Nikes. The team showed up for practice and discovered the shoes. Some practiced with them right away, while others decided to wait.

Freshman Antonio Reed hit the court in his old shoes, which showed more than a little wear and tear.

Reed says he didn't want to mess up the new ones.
