NEW YORK (AP) _ Oklahoma quarterback Jason White will find out tonight if he's a two-time Heisman Trophy winner.

Or Sooner running back Adrian Peterson could learn he's the first freshman to win the award.

White and Peterson are among five finalists in New York for tonight's presentation of the trophy given to college football's best player.

The others are U-S-C quarterback Matt Leinart, Trojan running back Reggie Bush and Utah quarterback Alex Smith.
