DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) _ The Oklahoma State women's golf team opens play Tuesday in the NCAA women's golf championship in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Cowgirls have never won a national golf title but came close three years ago when they finished second by two shots.

The 72-hole tournament runs Tuesday through Friday at the LPGA International - Legends Course and includes 24 teams.

Duke is the defending champion.
