NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- Oklahoma sophomore 1st baseman Samantha Ricketts is being invited to try out for the USA Softball Women's National Team. The tryouts will be June 11th through 15th at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, California.
The team will play in the 2007 World Cup in Oklahoma City and in the Pan American Games in Brazil.
The U.S. is the defending World Cup champion and has won five straight Pan American Games titles.
