OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Democratic National Committee chairman Howard Dean will give the keynote address at the state Democratic Party convention on May 19th in Oklahoma City. State party Chairwoman Lisa Pryor says Dean's presence confirms the national Democratic Party is committed to electing Democrats and promoting Democratic ideals in Oklahoma.
Democrats will hold their convention May 18th through 20th at the Bricktown Coca-Cola Center. They will be electing new officers, including a replacement for Pryor, who is not running for re-election.
