AUSTIN (AP) Chance Wheeless had 3-hits and Randy Boone threw a perfect 9th for his fourth save as Texas overcame a 3-run deficit to beat Oral Roberts 5-3 on Saturday.

Wheeless and Preston Clark each drove in 2-runs for Texas (11-6), and Bradley Suttle and Russell Moldenhauer added 3-hits apiece.

Pat Warfle's three hits and RBI helped Oral Roberts (4-7) build a 3-0 lead in the 5th before the Eagles were held to 2-hits in the final 4-innings.

Joseph Krebs (2-0) pitched 4 2-3 innings of 1-run relief for Texas. Erik Chrichton (0-3) allowed 3-runs on 7-hits in 3 1-3 innings of relief for Oral Roberts.
