DETROIT (AP) The Denver Broncos are expected to announce on Friday the trade of former Oklahoma State running back Tatum Bell to the Detroit Lions.

Bell will be sent to Detroit with Broncos offensive tackle George Foster and a fifth-round draft pick for cornerback Dre' Bly.

Bly would replace former OSU cornerback Darrent Williams who had earned a starting job with Denver but was killed in a drive-by shooting early New Year's Day.
