OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) A spokesman for Oklahoma State says the university mistakenly listed Oklahoma County Assessor Leonard Sullivan as one of more than 80 legislators it had given season football tickets last year.

Sullivan was term-limited and hasn't been in the Legislature since 2004 and was later elected assessor in Oklahoma County.

Sullivan had called The Associated Press to say he was amazed to be listed as receiving the $250 tickets on a lobbyist report filed with the state Ethics Commission. He says he buys his own season tickets to OSU games.

OSU spokesman Gary Shutt says the listing was an error and Sullivan will be getting an apology.

Universities giving football tickets to legislators and other elected officials is a tradition in Oklahoma.
