Three words are grabbing the attention of Tulsa kids, "Don't Bug Me." It's a campaign to remind students of the importance of flu prevention, the Health Department and Hillcrest Medical Center kicked off the program's third year at Rosa Parks Elementary Friday.
The flu campaign is so successful it's spreading across the nation.
“The special thing about it, over 33 states in the nation have now adopted this same campaign,†Hillcrest Medical Center CEO Steve Dobbs said. "We've got to get them started at an early age so that we can educate them as they become adults.
Flu prevention starts with proper hand washing, and make sure you always cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze.
