A Green Country soldier is back on the homefront.

Austin Ohl is serving in Afghanistan near the Pakistani border. A van full of his family and friends drove up to Tulsa from Warner, Oklahoma Wednesday afternoon to welcome him back.

It was a nerve-wracking wait, because Ohl wasn't on the flight they thought he would be on.

It took a little longer than expected, but he's now home for the next two weeks.
