WASHINGTON (AP) Two Oklahoma fire departments are among 127 nationwide getting a portion of more than $10 million in federal grant money.

The Pocola Fire Department will get $146,300 to buy a new vehicle and the Tecumseh Fire Department is getting more than $137,500 for operations and safety equipment.

The grants are awarded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to help firefighters and first responders prepare and respond better to emergencies.
