CHICAGO (AP) _ Oklahoma State senior Victor DeGrate is among 28 players listed on the mid-season watch list for the Ted Hendricks Defensive End of the Year award.

The award has been presented annually since 2002 by the Ted Hendricks Foundation.

The 6-foot-3, 250-pound DeGrate has 32 tackles and seven sacks this season in seven games for O-S-U.

Other Big 12 Conference players on the watch list are Ian Campbell of Kansas State, Tim Crowder of Texas, Keyunta Dawson of Texas Tech, Jay Moore of Nebraska and Brian Smith of Missouri.

The list of five or six finalists will be announced next month and voting for the award will end on December 4th. The winner will be announced December 6th.

Last year's winner was Elvis Dumervil of Louisville.
