Law enforcement officers across eastern Oklahoma are getting high tech help to track down lawbreakers.

The Tulsa Fire Department has a television production studio and control room at its training center. Over the years, the studio has added equipment, including what's called "detective software."

The editing equipment and software helps investigators take a better look at surveillance video. Frank Mason with the Tulsa Fire Department: "we can try to come up with car tag numbers, pictures of individuals we can supply back to law enforcement agencies, so they can go find these individuals and then arrest them."

The equipment has helped with a lot of different investigation, including kidnapping, burglary and robbery cases.
