A convicted Tulsa murderer will pay the ultimate price for his crimes. 23-year-old Jeremy Williams has been sentenced to die for killing bank teller Amber Rogers in 2004.
Jurors took six hours Monday to make a decision.
Amber's mother, Deborah Mizell says it was the outcome she wanted. She says Jeremy Williams is evil, and he is getting what he deserves. "It eases my mind that he will never be among other people, that he'll never be able to harm anyone else again."
Rogers was one of three people shot during the violent robbery at First Fidelity Bank. Bank President Mark Poole and customer Howard Smith also received life-threatening gunshot wounds, but survived.
Williams is serving a life sentence for shooting them. Two other men also face murder charges for the bank shooting.
