State Election Board Declares Election Emergency

The State Election Board has declared an election emergency for elections scheduled in 74 of Oklahoma's 77 counties.

The declaration allows county election boards to reschedule the April 7th elections for later dates.

The changes will allow the Election Board to follow CDC guidelines of no more than ten people in one place.

The board said the next available election date is June 30th, which is the same day as the state primary election.
