A strong cold front will arrive Thursday evening bringing a chance of storms, and temperatures in the 30s back to the state.
Ahead of the front, we are in for a mild day. Temperatures will warm into the 60s and 70s. Winds will be a big factor! South winds will gust 30 to 40 mph.
As the cold front arrives in northwest Oklahoma Thursday evening, a few thunderstorms will be possible.
Storms will be capable of large hail and damaging winds. The front will undercut the storms Thursday night and scattered showers will be possible.
The highest chances will be in northern Oklahoma. We will turn sharply colder and could even see a little light sleet in the northwest tonight.
Friday morning look for wind chills in the teens and 20s.
Friday afternoon highs will be in the mid 50s.
