Vance Air Force Base in Enid confirmed its first case of COVID-19 Wednesday.
Officials said a part-time contractor tested positive for the virus. The contractor is currently in home isolation off base.
Vance AFB is actively working with the Garfield County Health Department to prevent the spread of the virus.
