Hunter McKee

Hunter McKee joined the News 9 team as an MMJ in January of 2020. He’s an Oklahoma native from Norman.

Hunter was an intern at News 9 in 2015 and fell in love with storytelling and connecting with the people of Oklahoma.

Before coming back, Hunter worked as a news reporter for the Fox affiliate in Champaign, Illinois. He covered many stories but his most memorable was the 2016 presidential election.

Hunter also worked in production for the Oklahoma City Thunder, helping with in-game video and interviewing multiple NBA players. He loves watching sports during his free-time.

Hunter graduated from the University of Oklahoma in spring of 2016 with a BA in broadcast journalism. He loves Oklahoma and the people who make it friendly and entertaining. He’s excited to be back home and continue storytelling for many Oklahomans.
