TULSA, Okla. - Tuesday, negotiations continued between the City of Tulsa and the IC Bus of Oklahoma to keep the company in its current facility near Tulsa International Airport.

During a news conference Tuesday, the bus plant manager and some of the companies that make the bus parts said the negotiations over the current lease are at an impasse.

They did not go into specifics about the negotiations or what the sticking point was, but they did express their concerns if the IC Bus of Oklahoma and Navistar leave Tulsa.

The negotiations for renewing the lease with the City of Tulsa started last week. The City of Tulsa said they are working to keep IC Bus of Oklahoma and Navistar in Tulsa.

"We're excited to see what that is and I am very optimistic that the mayor continues to say he does not want these jobs to leave that this should be an easy negotiation to make sure these jobs stay right here in Tulsa," said Bus Plant Manager Randy Tharp.

The city said they are still negotiating with IC Bus of Oklahoma and Navistar.
