The Oklahoma City Fire Department and the hazmat team are responding to an oil spill Wednesday at Interstate 35 northbound to Interstate 40 eastbound at the Dallas junction.
Firefighters said a semi was leaking diesel, causing a traffic backup in the area.
No injuries have been reported.
Crews expect the closure to last into the late afternoon, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Motorists are urged to find alternate routes.
