OSSAA Approves 2020-2021 Football Districts

The Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association board has approved football districts for the 2020-21 season.

The activities association said they voted to adopt recommendations made by the Oklahoma Football Coaches Association.

You won't see any significant changes when it comes to 6-A schools, but Tulsa Central and McLain will see some of the greater changes.

Central currently plays in 4-A district four, which requires them to play schools like Sallisaw and Poteau starting this year.

Central will play in 3-A district four, which means they'll play closer schools like Holland Hall and Verdigris.

Meanwhile, McLain will move to 4-A district four, meaning they'll have to drive a little further to its games.
Skiatook will also move from 5-A to 4-A district Three.
