Chickasaw Nation Casinos Reopening With COVID-19 Guidelines

Chickasaw Nation Casinos across the state said they plan to open their doors for the first time since Mid-March at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, but only at 25% capacity.

Chickasaw Nation Casinos across the state said they plan to open their doors for the first time since Mid-March at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, but only at 25% capacity. 

That includes Riverwind Casino in Norman and the state’s largest casino, Winstar in Thackerville. 

 The tribe said all employees, vendors, and partners have already been thoroughly screened and tested for COVID-19. All employees will continue to have their temperatures checked, and every two weeks, they’ll continue to be tested for the coronavirus. 

The Chickasaw Tribe said all visitors will also have their temperatures taken at the door. If they have a fever of 100.4 they will not be allowed inside. 

All customers and staff are required to wear masks inside the casinos. 

 The casino said it will continue to enforce social distancing practices. It said every other chair in front of the slots and e-games are removed, game tables are closed, and complimentary drinks are no longer available. 

 Chickasaw Casinos will he closed from 4 to 8a.m. so the staff can disinfect everything inside the building. 

 All Riverwind and Winstar hotel amenities are suspended for now, as well as valet services.
