Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers are investigating a deadly accident in Payne County.
According to authorities, the crash took place just before 3:45 p.m. Sunday on State Highway 33, 2 miles west of Drumright in Payne County.
Troopers said a 69-year-old woman identified at Carolyn Wentzel was driving westbound when she departed the roadway and struck a culver, causing her vehicle to go airborne. Her vehicle rolled and came to a stop on it's roof.
Wentzel was taken by Cushing EMS to Hillcrest Hospital where she was pronounced dead from injuries caused in the crash.
