The on ramp from Interstate 40 eastbound to Interstate 44 northbound was shut down Monday morning after a semi-truck rolled off a bridge and caught fire.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol Troopers said a driver and a passenger were ejected as the semi-truck plunged from I-40 EB near Mathis Brothers.

I-40 eastbound to I-44 was closed until the Oklahoma Department of Transportation inspected the structural integrity of the bridge. I-40 westbound to I-44 on ramp was also shut down.

Both on ramps have since been reopened.

The two people that were ejected were taken to OU Medical Center but officials said they are in good condition.

This is a developing story.
