The City of Tulsa is moving its surplus auction online this year, and people can start making their bids.

The items up for bid are similar to what has been available in the past at in-person auctions.

This year bidders will see pictures online before deciding if they want to buy anything.

The auction will be rolled out in three phases:

Stage 1 will close July 7th and will include things like fire trucks, cars, buses, computers, power tools, bikes and even fire hydrants.

Stage 2 will close on July 21.

That will include office furniture, refrigerators, scrap metal and a few of the items from stage one.

Stage 3 will end on August 4th, and include TVs, printer supplies, and good-old-fashioned VCRs.

All items will be sold to the highest bidder regardless of the price on the auction date.
