OKC City Council To Hear Recommendations Concerning Possible Mask Ordinance

The Oklahoma City City Council will hear recommendations concerning a mask ordinance and other mitigation efforts during a special meeting on Thursday, July 16, Mayor David Holt said.

Oklahoma City residents have been asked to reach out their council member ahead of this meeting to voice their opinions concerning a possible mask ordinance and other mitigation responses.

In a series of tweets, Holt addressed a possible mask ordinance after Tulsa's mayor announced a possible one on his Facebook.

During the Thursday meeting, the Oklahoma City-County Health Department will make recommendations to the council on how to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
