It might be a hot July Saturday in Oklahoma, but there is a chance of severe weather tonight and into Sunday.
News 9 Meteorologist Cassie Heiter says the best chance of storms Saturday night will be across northern Oklahoma, with the highest chance for severe weather being in northeast Oklahoma. Storms will likely develop in Kansas and spread to the south and east.
There is only a slight chance of these storms making it into the Oklahoma City metro area. At that point, any storms remaining will likely be weakening.
